Damp Under Floorboards Smell

Damp under floorboards smell. Often found in basements and garages the unpleasant floor smell can emit throughout the entire house. Now i want to move my son from our room in to his own room and from cot to a bed but i just couldnt possible put him in there with that smell. An accumulation of dust under the floorboards can be the source of a musty smell. Once you have removed all such things from an area half the battle is won.

We know there seems to be a lot of old plaster under the boards would getting the boards up and removing all the rubble reduce the smell. It s not surprising a build up will start to smell over the years especially when bacteria get to work on it.
