Debris In Passenger Seat Fan Floor

I m still getting water on the passenger floor mat and on the passenger side of the dash theres a plstic cover like a fuse door with.
Debris in passenger seat fan floor. 4 hasn t rained for a few days. This would account for both the water slosh you hear and for the water on the floor boards on the passenger side. Every time it rains i ve noticed a little bit of water on the floor just behind the passenger seat of my 2014 explorer sport. Fixed it by 1st pulling the drain tube out of the floor and vacuumed the tube end with a wet dry vac.
I had the same problem of a wet floor mat on front passenger side traced back to ac condensate backing up into the plastic housing below and to left of glove case. Maybe i disturbed the gasket raising the hood to check the gasket days before. But the sudden 1 of water in the rear seat floor passenger side has me baffled as i think it was bone dry for week or two of rain while the front rug got maybe a 1 8 of water on the two sides of the floor since my first seal attempt on that gasket under the hood. If this is the case you ll probably notice the water pooling up under the passenger side floor mats.
That removed bug debris and the reservoir quickly drained. 1 passenger side is wetter top of the floor mat and floor is wet middle carpet is wet underneath and the driver side is wet underneath. 3 no moon roof. An evaporator core looks similar to a radiator almost like a big grate.
If the heater core or one of its hoses develops a leak it s likely to puddle up on the passenger floor in the front. If the evaporator drain gets clogged with leaves litter or other road debris the condensation will have nowhere to go and will begin leaking into the cabin collecting in a puddle on the passenger s side. I had a nasty water leak on the passenger side floor front and rear and i replaced the third brake lamp assembly which stopped my leak behind the rear seat. If plastic or rubber seals in your a c system fail water can seep out of the system and into your vehicle cabin.
2 seems to be just water not coolant. The heater core is typically located just above the passenger footwell where it circulates hot engine coolant in front of a fan so you get hot air when the heater is turned on. With the crazy weather and torrential rains we ve had in san diego over the past couple days i now have a one inch puddle on the floor on the passenger side front and back and the water is even on the driver side now.
